Who we are

Established in May 2001, the Community Intervention Centre (CIC) is a level 1 B-BBEE non-profit and non-governmental organisation that provides FREE 24-hour trauma, gender‑based violence (GBV), crisis intervention, and counselling services to vulnerable individuals and families who may otherwise be unable to access or afford support.

To sustain these essential services for the wider community, the CIC also offers specialised trauma support, counselling, debriefing, training, and wellness programmes to businesses, organisations, and corporate partners on a fee‑for‑service basis.

We work in full cooperation with the South African Police Service (SAPS) and local hospitals.

Our office is based at Tableview SAPS, but we also operate on-site or at the other local SAPS Victim Support centres in the Milnerton Police precinct.
